Past E2SCALA Partners
E2SCALA was very fortunate to receive the support of Prof. Juan Pestana (1963-2025), who was originally from Venezuela, since the very beginning of our program. Prof. Pestana attended E2SCALA partners’ meetings with enthusiasm and was always willing to provide new ideas to help students and to learn from earthquakes in the Latin American and Caribbean region. He will be missed.
